Who I Am and What I Do

Hello I am Nathalie a full-time Therapeutic Massage Therapist based in the Minneapolis area until August 2022, recently transfered to the Sandestin-Santa Rosa Beach area, and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA). My Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Massage Therapy and a Massage Certificate from Northwestern Health Sciences University are among my professional certifications. Nationally Board Certified as a Massage Therapist (NCBTMB) since 2006, I have continued to master my skills in the health care field and in 2013 I decided to become a Massage Therapist as an extension of my passion for people. Optimum health and wellness to my patients is the goal of my practice.  My areas of specialty include therapeutic/clinical rehabilitation of soft tissues, Swedish & relaxation massage, and cancer/oncology massage.

Techniques used in my practice include myofascial release, trigger point, cross-fiber friction, Swedish massage, sports massage, pregnancy massage, reflexology, craniosacral therapy and more. It is my goal to help my clients reach their desired results, whether complete relaxation, reduced anxiety or recovery from injury and illness.

I am always eager to expand my knowledge through continuing education and I am passionate to customize clinical massage sessions to fit each client’s need to create optimal outcomes. Leading an active lifestyle myself, I understand the importance of massage and injury prevention. For this reason my practice offers a wide range of therapeutic and relaxation massage services that are aimed in providing you with restoration of body, mind and spirit.

Board Certification in Massage Therapy  & Bodywork

To demonstrate her advanced assessment and critical thinking abilities, as well as providing instant credibility to her clients and patients, Nathalie achieved the highest standard in her profession becoming Board Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (BCTMB). BCTMB is the highest attainable credential within the massage therapy and bodywork profession. This differentiate Nathalie from many massage therapists: over 80% of clients look for Board Certification when seeking a massage therapist. Board Certified Massage Therapists must meet stringent requirements, clear a recurring criminal background check, and pass the Board Certification Exam. Focused on evidence-informed subject matter, Board Certificants utilize clinically-based education and practice to safely and effectively integrate massage therapy and/or bodywork into patients' treatment plans, in collaboration with fellow healthcare professionals.
